I am constantly in need of changing my hairstyle. I don't know what my problem is, but I can't wear the same hairstyle for more than 4 months. Now that the weather has cooled, I'm ready for a new look and I am thinking bangs. Thick, heavy bangs that start from the middle of my scalp and hit just above my eyes. As everyone knows, the problem with bangs is that you have to trim them - a lot. And as a busy mom, I really don't have time to run to the salon every time I need a bang trim. Luckily, my friend who is a hairdresser recently gave me a tutorial on how to properly cut and trim bangs. Here are her musts:
1) Get a good pair of salon-quality scissors.
2) Cut your hair when dry.
3) Cut hair in tiny sections - angle the scissors at 45-degrees and use the tip of the scissors to snip just a few strands at a time.
4) Start longer - you can also go shorter.
5) Only go as far as the ends of your eyebrows.
6) Be patient! Don't rush it!
Wish me luck!
